1. Go to Insert > WordArt

2. Pick the WordArt style you want.

3. Type your text.

   

Note: To convert existing text to WordArt, select the text, and then select Insert > WordArt.

Change the color

1. Select the WordArt text to change.

2. On Shape Format or Drawing Tools Format, select Text Fill or Text Outline, and pick the color you want.

   

3. Click or tap outside of your text box to see the effect.

   

Choose a text effect

1. Select the WordArt text to change.

2. Go to Shape Format or Drawing Tools Format > Text Effects >Transform.

   

3. Pick the effect you want.

4. Click outside of your text box to see the effect.

Rotate it

1. Select the WordArt, and then drag the circular rotation handle at the top of the box.

   

2. To flip WordArt or rotate it 90 degrees, go to Shape Format or Drawing Tools Format > Rotate, and then select an option.

   

Change the font

1. Select the WordArt text to change.

2. Go to Home and select options such as font style, font size, or underline.

Delete WordArt

Double-click the WordArt that you want to remove, and then press Delete.

1. Click or tap where you want to insert WordArt.

2. Go to Insert > WordArt.

   

3. Select a WordArt style, and start to type.

Note: To convert existing text to WordArt, select the text, and then select Insert > WordArt.

Make changes to WordArt

1. Select the WordArt text that you want to change.

2. Go to Format > Drawing Tools and select any option.

Delete WordArt

Double-click the WordArt that you want to remove, and then press Delete.

1. Go to Insert > WordArt.

2. Pick the WordArt style you want.

   

3. Type your text.

Create curved or circular WordArt

1. Select the WordArt.

   

2. Go to Shape Format > Text Effects > Transform and pick the effect you want.

   When you do that, the Shape Format tab appears.

2. Go to > Shape Format > Text Effects > Transform and pick the effect you want.

3. To change the outline of the WordArt text, go to Shape Format > Text Outline and pick a color.

In Word for the web you can see WordArt that's already in your document, but to add more WordArt you need to open or edit the doc in the desktop version of Word.

You can use the Font features on the Home tab to change the font color and size, and apply bolding, italics, or underlines to your text.
