Change file type associations

Note: The following instructions apply to Microsoft Windows XP, Windows Vista, and Windows 7, if you run Microsoft Picture Manager as the administrator. Use the .jpg format when saving in Windows Vista.

Changing file type associations allows you to specify which kinds of picture files your computer will automatically open with Microsoft Picture Manager.

1. On the Tools menu, click File Types.

2. Select the check boxes for the format types you want to be opened with Microsoft Office Picture Manager.
