Publish your presentation to the Web

Microsoft PowerPoint 2010 enables you to save your presentation to Web sites such as Windows Live for others to access.

Note:  You can save a presentation to the Web as a PowerPoint (.pptx or .ppt) file, a PDF or other file type. PowerPoint 2010 does not support saving a PowerPoint file as a Web page.

1. Open the presentation that you want to publish to the Web.

2. Click the File tab, and then click Save & Send.

3. Under Save & Send, click Save to Web.

   If you want people to have access to a presentation that you published to the Web, you must specify a Web server or other available computer when you choose a location for the file. Some Web sites, such as Windows Live, may require you to sign in to connect to the server on which your presentation is to be saved.

4. Click Save As.

5. In the File name box, type a file name, or do nothing to accept the suggested file name.
