Create links to notebooks, sections, pages, and paragraphs
It's easy to create a quick table of contents to other areas in your notes. You can create links to notebooks, sections, pages, and even specific paragraphs.
Copy and paste a link to a notebook

Right-click the notebook name that the link should point to.

On the shortcut menu, click Copy Link to Notebook.
The link to the selected notebook and the title of the notebook are copied to the Clipboard.

Click the location on the page that is to contain the link.

On the Edit menu, click Paste.
OneNote inserts a link that, when clicked, displays the target notebook.
Tip: To quickly return to the previous page after you click a link, click Back on the Quick Access Toolbar. If you're using OneNote 2007, click Back on the Standard toolbar.

Right-click the tab of the section that the link should point to.

On the shortcut menu, click Copy Link to Section.
The link to the selected section and the title of the section are copied to the Clipboard.

Click the location on the page that is to contain the link.

In the side margin, right-click the tab of the page that the link should point to.

Move your cursor to the left edge of the paragraph you want to link.

Right-click the four-headed arrow next to the paragraph the link should point to.

On the shortcut menu, click Copy Link to Paragraph.
The link to the selected paragraph and the paragraph text are copied to the Clipboard.

Click the location on the page that is to contain the link.

On the Edit menu, click Paste.
