Delete a project

Delete a project

You can delete a project that is saved on your local computer, or you can delete a project that is saved on Microsoft Office Project Server 2007.

Delete a local project

  1. Click Open Button image .

  2. In the Look in list, select the drive or folder that contains the project that you want to delete.

  3. In the folder list, locate and open the folder that contains the project that you want to delete.

  4. Right-click the project that you want to delete, and then click Delete on the shortcut menu.

    Note: You cannot delete a project that is currently open.

  5. Click Cancel to close the dialog box.

Delete a project saved on the server

  1. Click Open Button image .

  2. In the Look in list, select Enterprise Projects.

  3. Double-click Retrieve the list of all projects from Project Server.

  4. Right-click the project that you want to delete, and then click Delete on the shortcut menu.

    Note: You cannot delete a project that is currently open.

  5. Click Yes on the warning message that appears.

  6. Click Cancel to close the dialog box.
