Migrate UML shapes

1. Open the file that contains the shapes you want to migrate.

2. On the Tools menu, point to Add-Ons, point to Visio Extras, and then click Update Shapes.

3. Under Options, choose whether or not to back up the original document.

   Tip: Create a backup if you want to open the file in a previous version of Visio.

4. Click OK.

5. If you want to view a log file of the migrated shapes, click Yes when prompted.

6. On the File menu, click Save to save the newly migrated shapes.
