I typed new text or numbers on the datasheet, but the data labels in the chart didn't update.

Microsoft Graph breaks links between data labels and datasheet cells if you typed information directly in the data label in the chart. To reestablish links between data labels and the datasheet, you must delete the data labels and then add them again. Click the data labels you want to delete, and then press DELETE.
