You've signed up for Teams free and invited people to join you—great job! Here are five things to do next to get your Teams free org going.
-
Schedule an online meeting. Once you schedule a meeting, you'll be able to share the invitation with others, or add it to a calendar.
-
Create the teams that you want in the organization, and add people to them. For example, if you created a Teams free org for a sports league, you could create a team for coaches, a team for administrators, and a team for each team.
-
Create channels within each team. Each individual team you create will come with one channel by default, General. Add more to keep projects and topics organized.
-
Post a message in a channel. Start the conversation off for the team members! Click the channel name, then start typing in the box at the bottom of the channel. Here are some other fun things you can do in messages:
-
Attach a file to the message (also called sharing a file)
-
Type @ and then someone's name to tag them in the message.
-
Start a one-on-one chat. Click New chat , type the person's name and then the message, then click Send .
