Proxy Properties: Compression

Use the Compression tab to specify and configure client and server compression settings.

Server Compression

Specifies the compression settings for server-to-server connections.

Request compression on outgoing server-to-server connections

To compress outgoing connections between servers, select this check box.

Maximum number of server-to-server connections

This specifies the maximum allowable number of connections from this Proxy Server to other servers. The maximum number of connections allowed is 65535. The minimum is 0. The default is 1024.

Client Compression

This specifies the compression settings for client-to-server connections.

Enable compression on client-to-server connections

To compress incoming connections between clients and the servers in this pool, select this check box.
