Convert a spot-color ink to a process color
Before you can follow these steps, you must first have set up your publication to use process colors plus spot colors.
How?

On the Tools menu, point to Commercial Printing Tools, and then click Color Printing.

Under Define all colors as, click Process colors plus spot colors.

On the Tools menu, point to Commercial Printing Tools, and then click Color Printing.

Click the Inks tab.

Click the arrow next to the spot-color ink you want to convert, and then click Convert to Process.
Microsoft Office Publisher will remove the spot-color ink from the list of inks on the Inks tab and then convert the color listed on the Colors tab to show its CMYK values.
