Hyperlink Address fields
The Hyperlink Address field contains the address for a hyperlink associated with a task, resource, or assignment. You can click the name in the Hyperlink Address field to go to that Web site on an intranet or the World Wide Web. You can also use the Hyperlink field to go to a document on your hard disk or on your network.
There are several categories of Hyperlink Address fields.

Best Uses Add the Hyperlink Address field to a task sheet when you want to display or go to the addresses associated with tasks. When you add a site in the Hyperlink Address field, the hyperlink indicator appears in the Indicators field.
Example Many tasks in your project are assigned to outside consulting companies and service bureaus that have Web sites. You add the Hyperlink Address field to the Task Sheet view to see the hyperlink address, for example, "http://www.microsoft.com/," for these outside companies.
Remarks If you want to edit a hyperlink, don't click the Hyperlink or Hyperlink Address field. Clicking either field starts your Web browser and goes to the referenced hyperlink. Instead, use the arrow keys to highlight the Hyperlink Address field. Then, click the entry bar above the view to edit the hyperlink.
You can also insert a hyperlink in your project file by completing the Insert Hyperlink dialog box.
