Get started with project home

Project Home gives Project users a birds-eye view of the projects and roadmaps that matter the most to them. It not only provides quick and easy access to projects they have worked on recently, but also to important projects that need to be top-of-mind. Easy to use controls allow them to mark these projects as favorites so that they displayed prominently in Project Home.

Try it!

Go to your Project Home

1. Sign in to Microsoft 365, select the app launcher, and then select the Project icon. Alternatively, go to project.microsoft.com.

2. On the Project Home page, you'll see all of the projects and roadmaps you've been viewing recently, or you can choose to create a new one. 

   Notes: 

   • Projects created in Production Dataverse environments show the name of the environment where they were created in parentheses next to the project type.

   • To create a project in a Production Dataverse environment, use the Project Power App.
     

Add projects to Project Home

Try it!

You can easily add and remove projects from the Favorites and Recent lists in Project Home.

Add a project to the Favorites list

1. In Project Home, go to the Recent list and mouse over the project that you want to move to the Favorites list.

2. Select the Mark favorite icon .

3. The project will move to the Favorites list.

Note: A project must be in the Recent list before it can be added to the Favorites list.

Remove a project from the Favorites list

1. In Project Home, go to the project you want to remove from the Favorites list.

2. In the project card, select the Control icon , and then select Remove from favorites.

3. The project will no longer display in the favorites list.

To add a project to the Recent list

1. Open a project or roadmap you want to add to Project Home.

2. The project will automatically be added to the Recent list in Project Home.

Remove a project from the Recent list

1. In Project Home, go to the Recent list and mouse over the project that you want to remove.

2. Select the Control icon , and then select Remove from list.

3. The project will no longer display in the Recent list.
