Change your account settings in Office 365 operated by 21Vianet
You can change your Office 365 account settings, including your language, company information, and more.
Your settings
To see your personal account settings, at the top of the page in Office 365, click Settings > Office 365 settings.
Personal account setting | What you can do |
Me | See your contact and account information, such as what is included in your subscription. |
Software | Install software like Office and Lync. The contents of this page change based on what you have access to. |
Theme | Customize Office 365 by choosing a color theme. |
Start page | Change the page you see on sign-in. |
Notifications | You can choose to be notified of things like reminders and new mail. |
Password | Change your Office 365 password. When you first sign in to Office 365 for business, use the temporary password given to you, and then create a new password to use for sign-in from then on. You can also change your password at any time after you have signed in. To do this: Sign in to Office 365 with your Office 365 user ID, go to Settings > Office 365 settings > Password. Type your old password, and then type a new password and confirm it. Then click Save. |
Contact preferences | Some people get this tab, which lets them control what kind of communication they get from their service operator. |
Language | Choose the language you want to see in Office 365. Note: Help for Office 365 operated by 21Vianet is available in Simplified Chinese and English only. |
Admin settings
An admin is someone who sets up Office 365 for an organization. Your organization might have one admin or a whole team. Admins can change settings for the whole organization. These settings are different from personal account settings, and can be found in other places. See the help topics for each action below.

Contact preferences | Request that your service operator send you—or stop sending you—information about topics like promotional offers or customer research. See Change your contact preferences. |
Change company information | This includes the company's address. See Change your organization's address and other profile information. |
