Monthly Calendar Report dialog box
Use the Monthly Calendar Report dialog box to specify the general content, details, and look of the new monthly calendar report you're creating. You can:

Specify the filter and calendar to be applied to the calendar report.

Specify different types of highlighting and formatting in the report.

Indicate whether and how tasks should be labeled.
Dialog box location
On the Report menu, click Reports. Click Custom, and then click Select. Click New, click Monthly Calendar, and then click OK.
Details
Calendar report layout
Name Specifies the name of the report.
Filter Specifies the filter that you want to use to view or highlight selected project information. For more information about filters, search for "available filters" in Help.
Highlight Highlights the information that meets the filter criteria. To set the format for the highlighted text, click the Text button. By default, this check box is cleared, meaning that only the information that meets the filter criteria is shown, and all other information is hidden.
Calendar Specifies the calendar the report uses. The choices include the base calendars as well as resource calendars.
Calendars
Standard The base calendar that has a standard work day and work week of Monday through Friday, 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M., with 12:00 P.M. to 1:00 P.M. designated as nonworking time for break.
24 Hours The base calendar that has no nonworking time. All time, from Sunday through Saturday, 12:00 A.M. to 12:00 A.M., is set as working time.
Night Shift The base calendar that is set up for a graveyard shift. Working times are Monday night through Saturday morning, 11:00 P.M. to 8:00 A.M., with 3:00 A.M. to 4:00 A.M. designated as nonworking time for break.
Formatting check boxes
Gray nonworking days Shows nonworking days in gray when you print the Calendar view. Nonworking days are defined by the calendar selected in the Calendar box. By default, this check box is selected.
Solid bar breaks Shows a solid line at the end of a bar when a task continues to the next week. Clear the check box to print dotted lines. By default, this check box is cleared.
Print gray bands Shows a gray band between the dates when other tasks must be printed separately. When there are more tasks scheduled in a day than can fit in one square, additional pages are printed that list the tasks for each day, with gray bands separating each day. By default, this check box is cleared.
Show tasks as section
Use this section to specify how you want tasks to appear in the calendar report.
Bars Shows tasks as bars. This option is the default.
Lines Shows tasks as lines.
Start/Finish dates Shows tasks as start and finish dates.
Label tasks with section
Use this section to specify how you want tasks labeled.
ID Labels tasks with their IDs. By default, this check box is cleared.
Name Labels tasks with their names. By default, this check box is selected.
Duration Labels tasks with durations. By default, this check box is selected.
Text button
Opens the Text Styles dialog box which you can use to specify the text styles for elements within the report.
