Call forwarding and simultaneously ring (Windows Phone)
Important: Call forwarding may not be available if your organization has not turned it on. Contact your workplace technical support if you're not sure.
If call forwarding is available, you can forward calls to another number or Skype for Business contact, or ring another number at the same time as your mobile number. Call forwarding lets you send calls your current location if you're traveling or working from home, or route calls automatically to a coworker if you're out of the office.
Forward call to voice mail or another number
-
Go to More > Settings > Call Forwarding.
-
Under Incoming calls, tap to select Forward Calls.
-
Under Forward Calls To, choose Voice Mail, New Number, New Contact, or your mobile number. If you're forwarding to another number or contact, enter the number or search for the contact as required.
-
Under Apply Settings, accept the normal setting of All the Time, or tap to choose During Outlook Work Hours.
-
Tap Done to save your changes.
Any changes you make here are automatically copied to Skype for Business on your desktop and other mobile devices.
To stop call forwarding, repeat steps 1 and 2 above, and then choose Do Not Forward.
Ring another phone number at the same time as your mobile number
-
Go to More > Settings > Call Forwarding.
-
Under Incoming calls, tap to select Simultaneously Ring, and then select an existing number, or enter a new one.
-
Under Apply Settings, accept the normal setting of All the Time, or tap to choose During Outlook Work Hours.
-
Tap Done to save your changes.
