Open an existing onenote for windows 8 notebook from onedrive

If you already have notebooks stored on OneDrive, you can open them in OneNote for Windows 8.

To open a OneDrive-based notebook in OneNote:

1. On any page, tap the gripper icon next to Recent Notes in the top left corner.

2. In the gray pane that appears on the left, tap More….

3. Tap the name of the notebook you want to open.

To open a OneDrive-based notebook that is not listed, do the following:

1. Go to the OneDrive home page and sign in with your Microsoft account, if prompted.

2. Tap and hold on the notebook you want to open and then select Open in OneNote from the context menu.
