Important: In Excel for Microsoft 365 and Excel 2021, Power View is removed on October 12, 2021. As an alternative, you can use the interactive visual experience provided by Power BI Desktop, which you can download for free. You can also easily Import Excel workbooks into Power BI Desktop.
Slicers are a kind of filter. Place a slicer on a sheet to filter all of the visualizations on the sheet at once. When you click an item in the slicer, all of the visualizations with related content are filtered by the item you select. Power View slicers act much like slicers in Power Pivot in Excel.
You can add more than one slicer to your report, and the filtering effects of all slicers are combined. Slicers filter each other.
-
Create a single-column table from any field that is an attribute, such as Name or Category, and not a numeric value.
You can use images in your data as slicers. Read more about using images in Power View. -
On the Design tab > Slicer.
The table is converted to a slicer.
-
Click a value in the slicer to filter the contents of the sheet or view. To select multiple values, hold the Ctrl key when you click.
-
To clear the slicer filter, hover over the slicer, and then click Clear Filter in the upper-right corner of the slicer.
Tip: . Select all except a certain set of values by resetting the filter with the button in the upper-right corner, and then using Ctrl + click to unselect specific values. This shows overall values excluding the unselected values
Note: Clicking values in a table that is not a slicer does not filter the report.
In this image, the Discipline Image slicer on the left is filtering for figure skating, so only figure skating data appear in the matrix and in the column chart on the right.
Filtering with a slicer is different from other types of filters. Slicers:
-
Filter charts. They do not highlight charts.
-
Are saved with the workbook or report. When you save, close, and reopen a workbook or report, the same values will be selected in the slicer.
-
Can use image fields. Behind the scenes, Power View uses the Row Identifier field for that image in the data model as the filter in the slicer. If the data model is in Excel, you may need to Configure table behavior properties for Power View reports.

HELLO GET OUT OF FINANCIAL MESS WITH THE HELP OF drbenjaminfinance@gmail.com
ReplyDeleteI have been in financial mess for the past months, I’m a single mum with kids to look after. My name is REBECCA MICHAELSON, and am from Ridley Park, Pennsylvania. A couple of weeks ago My friend visited me and along our discussion she told me about DR BENJAMIN OWEN FINANCE of (drbenjaminfinance@gmail.com); that he can help me out of my financial situation, I never believed cause I have spend so much money on different loan lenders who did nothing other than running away with my money. She advised, I gave it a try because she and some of her colleagues were rescued too by this Godsent lender with loans to revive their dying businesses and paying off bills. so I mailed him and explain all about my financial situation and therefore took me through the loan process which was very brief and easy. After that my loan application worth $278,000.00USD was granted, all i did was to follow the processing and be cooperative and today I am a proud business owner sharing the testimony of God-sent Lender. You can as well reach him through the Company WhatsApp +19292227023 Email drbenjaminfinance@gmail.com
THANK YOU VERY MUCH
I invested $95,420 in Bitcoin trading from an unregulated broker, I feel agitated about my situation, even find my life in a difficult time to make withdrawal from my account, I Saw a post about An online fund charge back recovery company going through some page here on this platform, at *www thedailychargeback com* ,I gave them all the information they needed to place the recovery. To my surprise I successfully got my funds off that broker confirming the payment on my wallet account, I highly recommend their service to others.
ReplyDeleteBEWARE of scammers who pose as crypto miners and investors. I met a con artist on Facebook and he claimed to be a crypto miner, showed me so many proofs of his work, so I believed him. He convinced me to invest, and I did believe his fake promises. Only for me to find out from a friend who had met the same ordeal, that I had been scammed. I mailed the FTC several times, but they couldn't track the scammers. A well wisher who works at the FTC introduced me to his friend, (Jerry Link Group) who he told me was off the book. They helped me trace and recover my stolen crypto, and they took 10% as agreed after the job was done. I am recommending their services as promised. JERRYLINKGROUP at GMAIL dot COM is their email address. Please remember to mention me.
ReplyDeleteHi! My name is George Clifford, A truck driver here in Denver .About two years ago I had a divorce and then I lost my Job afterwards. Most of our debts were in my name and I also had child support, I missed out on my payments for months because I was broke then. Right now all my debt has been paid, but the negative items still reflect on my credit score 610, 628 and 624. I applied for an auto loan for my new wife but was declined. I was introduced to Rootkits Credit Specialist by a good friend. They helped me remove the negative items and my score rose to 769, 771 and 775. I’ve been pre-approved thanks to them. You too can testify if you reach out to them on rootkitscreditspecialist@gmail.com or you can call 815 524 8116.
