Use settings to specify voice, notification, and contact settings and other overall settings for Microsoft Lync 2010 on the Windows Phone.
What do you want to do?
Mobile phone number
The specified Mobile phone number is used by Microsoft Lync Server 2010 to set up outgoing work calls. When you make a work call, the call is routed to Lync Server 2010, which calls you back at your mobile phone number. After you answer the call, Lync Server places the call to the call recipient.
When you first sign in to Lync on your Windows Phone, you'll be guided to configure your Mobile phone number. To update your mobile number, do the following:
-
From any screen, tap the More (…) icon at the bottom, and then tap settings.
-
Under Mobile phone number, enter your mobile phone number.
Push notifications
Push notifications let you know about a new instant message or alert, when you are signed in to Lync but are not active on your mobile device. To turn on push notifications, set the Push notifications setting to On.
Show photos
To show your photo and see the photo of other contacts on your mobile device, set the Show photos setting to On.
Diagnostic Logging
Logs are used by system administrators to collect, analyze, and save data. A system administrator might ask you to turn logging to do troubleshooting. If you're not asked, you don't need to be concerned with this option.
-
To turn on Diagnostic Logging, set the Diagnostic Logging to On.
