It's easy to send messages and chat with everyone in your team. Messages that you send using StaffHub will appear in both StaffHub and Microsoft Teams. Messages that you send in Teams will be received and viewable in StaffHub, but will not trigger a notification in StaffHub.
For example, let's say you're creating a schedule and you have a question for your team. You can send messages from the Teams web app or desktop client, and your firstline workers who are using the StaffHub mobile app will receive it, as will those using the Teams clients. This works vice versa when sending messages from StaffHub: those messages will appear in the Teams and StaffHub clients.
Note: This new feature is gradually rolling out to new tenants. If you are on a tenant that does not yet have this feature, you'll get it in the next several months.

How do I connect a team in StaffHub and Microsoft Teams?
When you create a team in StaffHub, it will also be created in Microsoft Teams automatically!
How does team chat work?
A StaffHub team chat includes everyone on your team. To view the conversation in Teams, go to your team in Teams, and open the General channel.
Do other Team channels appear in StaffHub?
No, only the "General" channel will appear in StaffHub to your team. Other channels in Teams are not yet supported on StaffHub.
What chat features are supported?
You can send messages between StaffHub and Teams using private chat (1:1), group chat, and team chat. Only text-based messages and images are supported between StaffHub and Microsoft Teams.
You cannot send videos, make @ mentions, make calls, or hold meetings between StaffHub and Teams. Message threading is not yet support, either.
What licenses are required to use Teams?
Users need a Microsoft Teams license; just having a license for StaffHub isn't sufficient. For example, if a user wants to create a new team in StaffHub, they need a Teams license.
If a user runs into issues launching Teams, make sure they have a Microsoft Teams license.
All Office 365 plans that include StaffHub also include Microsoft Teams. By default, both StaffHub and Microsoft Teams licenses are enabled for all users assigned with the eligible Office 365 subscriptions.
StaffHub users who don't plan to use Teams do not need a Teams license to continue using StaffHub as usual.
