Connected accounts in Office 365 operated by 21Vianet
Important: Microsoft will be removing the ability to add new accounts to Outlook on the web (and the earlier version known as Outlook Web App)using the Connected accounts feature in September 2018.

You won't be able to connect new accounts after September 15, 2018.

Accounts that were connected before September 15th will continue to sync as usual until October 30, 2018.

On October 30th, all connected accounts will stop syncing email.

On November 15th, the Connected accounts option (Settings > Mail > Accounts) will be removed from Outlook on the web .

Email that has already synced will continue to appear in your inbox unless you remove it manually.
Notes: To continue seeing email from other accounts:

Forward email from those accounts to Outlook on the web. For more information, see Turn on or off automatic forwarding in Outlook.com, Automatically forward Gmail messages to another account, and Automatic email forwarding in Yahoo Mail.

Connect your other account to Outlook for Windows or Outlook for Mac (see Add an email account to Outlook).

Connect your other account to Mail in Windows 10 (see https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/17198/windows-10-set-up-email).

This article shows you how to set up and manage connections with your accounts. You can:

Connect your Outlook Web App account to other email accounts: Keep track of email from other accounts by setting up a connection to the other email services. This lets you send, receive, and read email all in one place.

Forward email: Forward your email from your Outlook Web App account to another account.
Note: Some of the tasks that go along with these features may not be supported for your account or service plan. If you don't see the Connected accounts tab, these features aren't available for your account.

Create a connection to another account

Before you connect to download mail from another email account, you may need to turn on POP or IMAP access from the other account.

In Outlook Web App, click Settings > Options > Accounts > Connected accounts.

Click Add .

In the New Account Connection dialog box, type the email address and password of the account you want to connect to, and then click OK.

When you see the message that your accounts are connected, click Finish. Messages sent to your connected account will appear in your Inbox.
Stop connecting to a connected account
You can stop connecting to a connected email account in Outlook Web App by removing the connection.

In Outlook Web App, click Settings > Options > Accounts > Connected accounts.

Under Account Name, select the account you want to stop connecting to.

Click Delete to remove the connection.

Click Yes in the dialog box to confirm that you want to stop connecting to the account.
Update a connection to a connected account
You can edit the settings for a connected account, for example, if you need to update the settings to match changes that occurred with your connected account.

In Outlook Web App, click Settings > Options > Accounts > Connected accounts.

Select the account you want to edit.

Click Edit .

Update the email address or password of the account, and then click next.

When you see the message that your accounts are connected, click Finish.
Choose the default reply address
You can specify the email address that displays in the From field when you reply to messages that are sent to one of your connected accounts.

In Outlook Web App, click Settings > Options > Account > Connected accounts.

In the Default reply address section, use the drop-down menu to choose the account you want users to see in the From field of messages you send.

Choose Automatic if you want the From field of messages you reply to from Outlook Web App to match the email address the message was originally sent to.

Choose your Outlook Web App email address if you want your Outlook Web App email address to appear in the From field of messages you reply to from Outlook Web App.

Choose one of your connected account email addresses if you want the From field of all messages you reply to from Outlook Web App to match the email address of one of your connected accounts.

Click Save.
Forward email to another email account
Set email forwarding for your account

In Outlook Web App, click Settings > Options > Accounts > Connected accounts.

In the Forwarding section, click Start Forwarding.

In Forward my email to, type the email address you want to forward your Outlook Web App email to, and click Save.
Note: By default, Outlook Web App keeps a copy of forwarded messages in your Outlook Web App mailbox after you set up forwarding. If you don't want to keep a copy of messages in your Outlook Web App mailbox, clear the Keep a copy of forwarded messages in Outlook Web App check box.
Stop email forwarding

In Outlook Web App, click Settings > Options > Accounts > Connected accounts.

In the Forwarding section, click Stop Forwarding .
Change email forwarding settings
After you've set up email forwarding, you may want to edit the destination email address for your messages. You may also want to change the setting for keeping a copy of your email in your Outlook Web App mailbox.

In Outlook Web App, click Settings > Options > Accounts > Connected accounts.

In the Forwarding section, do one of the following:

To change the destination email address, in Forward my email to, edit the email address.

To change whether you want to keep a copy of messages in your Outlook Web App mailbox, select or clear the Keep a copy of forwarded messages in Outlook Web App check box.

Click Save.
