Changing the recurrence pattern for a meeting
You can open an entire recurring meeting series and change its recurrence pattern. Note, however, that the effect of changing a recurring meeting is to delete all meetings from the original pattern, and create new ones in the new pattern. As a result, if any meetings from the original pattern contained data, Groove gives you the option to save these meetings as individual, non-recurring meetings, and thus avoid any data loss.
-
Open any meeting in the series.
-
In the Open Recurring Meeting dialog box, click Open this series and then click OK.
-
Click Recurrence.
-
In the Meeting Recurrence dialog box, select options to set up the recurrence pattern you want.
-
Click OK.
-
Save your changes.
If any meetings from the original recurrence pattern contained data, such as agendas, notes, or summaries, the Keep or Delete Meetings dialog box opens.
-
Uncheck any meetings in the list that you do not want to keep, and click OK.
Editing content in a recurring meeting
-
Double-click any meeting occurrence in the series.
-
At the prompt, select an option for opening only this occurrence or the entire series and then click OK.
If you open any single occurrence of a recurring meeting, you can edit all content for that meeting.
If you open an entire series of a recurring meeting, you can only edit its recurrence pattern, time zone settings, and list of attendees. You cannot edit all the agendas, notes, or summaries for a series of recurring meetings at once.
