Change the date or time format

Outlook uses your Mac OS System Preferences settings to display dates and times.

Do any of the following:

Change the date or time format in Mac OS X v10.6 (Snow Leopard)

  1. On the Apple menu, click System Preferences.

  2. Under Personal, click Language & Text.

    If the Language & Text button is hidden, click Show All.

  3. Click the Formats tab, and then choose the date or time format that you want.

Change the date or time format in Mac OS X v10.5 (Leopard)

  1. On the Apple menu, click System Preferences.

  2. Under Personal, click International.

    If the International button is hidden, click Show All.

  3. Click the Formats tab, and then choose the date or time format that you want.

Notes: 

  • After changing the date or time settings, the new settings will not take effect in Outlook until you open an items or click a different folder in the folder list.
