Shape Data Sets window
Use this window to create, edit, delete, and rename data sets associated with your drawing, as well as to apply data sets to shapes in your drawing or on a custom stencil. A data set is a collection of data that can be associated with shapes in your drawing or with master shapes on a custom stencil.
Data sets in document
This list identifies the data sets associated with the open drawing.
Add
Clicking Add opens the Add Shape Data Set dialog box where you can create a new data set.
Define
Clicking Define opens the Define Shape Data dialog box where you can create, edit, and delete data for the selected data set.
Delete
Clicking Delete removes the selected data set from the list.
Rename
Clicking Rename highlights the name of the selected data set so you can type a new name.
Apply checked shape data sets to
Use these options to indicate how to apply the data sets.
Shapes selected in drawing
Clicking this option applies the checked data sets to the selected shapes in the drawing.
Shapes selected in stencil
Clicking this option applies the checked data sets to the selected master shapes in a custom stencil.
Remove existing data sets
If this check box is selected, any existing data sets are removed from the shape when the new data sets are applied. If this check box is cleared, the new data sets are added to the existing sets.
Apply
Clicking Apply commits the selected data set options to the selected shapes.
